Tsukayu Strong bags installed...

...NEVER FUCKING AGAIN will I install these things without pre-drilled holes!

But, they are finally on even if it took all damn day, and they still have to come off to get painted. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow, right now I am tired and need a drink.

ETA: Got the bags back from the painter, and he did a damn fine job! I only messed it up just a little bit when I was putting on the weatherstripping...damned adhesive!

While I was at it, I installed some new spiral baffles in the exhaust. I was running with lollipops, but after an hour on the bike with my half-helmet, I decided that I did not like the sound. It was just too...brassy...when I had the throttle opened up. There is not all that much difference with the baffles in, but it sounds mostly like the top level of higher-pitched sound was just cut off, so a deeper tone.

I also took off the stock passenger pegs and installed my ISO-Wings in place...I know the angle looks a little odd, but if I flatten them out any more, the right side hits the exhaust.

I also had to take the bags back to the painter today as the rivets for the straps on the inside of the lid did not hold, so he swapped them out for some that were a little larger.

So, here are some pics!

This one has the lights on, and you can really see the difference between the Clear Alternatives light and the Hyperlites, even without the brake light being on. I originally had the Hyperlites on the outside of the bag mounts where the "Z" is, but they were mostly covered up by the bag, so I swapped them around.

This one had the turn signal on, and again, you can really see the difference.

still running hyperlites?

Good sir, i am inquiring about your install of said hyperlites.
I am close to making the purchase of a set of the 3way lights to replace stock.
if you still have said lights installed, especially after two good years how do they preform? Do the pass the test of time?
any input is appreciated as always,
thank you in advance!

I ended up moving the hyperlites a few times. If you do not have them completely horizontal, they tend to wash out in bright sunlight. Other than that I was happy with them.

That being said, I recently swapped them out for a set of Custom Dynamics Plasma Rods that also do run/turn/brake.
