Offsetting front sprocket

Finishing up the 240 rear and front sprocket has me. It needs to be pushed out about 1/2" to line up with rear and not hit the tire.If it didn't have that lock ring, I would be good I think. Anyone have any insight on how to push out the front sprocket? 06 shadow spirit 750

I think I have seen someone who welded 2 together. You may also be able to find another non- motorcycle sprocket application where it is offset.

Can you post some pictures, info of the mods that you needed to do?
I'd love some dims of the wheel and tire, as well, so I can create CAD models before I cut up my extra swing arm.
Thanks
