for your first time at something,take some pics of a before so you have something to reference back to when your standing there scratching your head.Oh yeah!save the weed for afterwards.I can remember always saying Now where in the hell did i put that and spend an hour looking for it.lol

i totally agree w/ fire, smoke AFTER! the last thing you want is to leave a small piece off your bike and have to take the shit back apart!
i know that i can't do anything complicated stoned. need your head on a swivel! esp working on your baby.

its an easy job, as previously stated the more work you do the easier everything gets. in my case the PO left the bike outside and the seals started to rust..
just took a bit longer to disassemble and clean

Wow, I don't think I have seen this sticky...especially not since I did one of my own, I think mine is in the VLX section, but all the Shadow forks are the same.

From my experience, buell thunderbolt, kaw. Eliminator 600, ninja 600, shadow 500 and 750.
There is a miniscule difference between them. If you can do one you've just about done them all.
