Easy, just have a local machine shop cut you a set of rockers with the axle holes to fit the axle, and have them turn a longer axle for you depending on how wide your springer is.

ok doc.. got a question cause i have really been thinking about this alot.. you said you went 2 under.. i'm doing this on a ace.. i believe the rake is differant from the 2000 ace and the spirit.. so would i need to go 4 under with the 21? or is the 2 under going to work as well?

Measure the bottom of your neck to the center of the axle. If its 22" then go 2 under. My spirit was 22"

ok to bring an old thread out of the coffin.... does anyone know the headtube size differance between the honda and the harley? wouldnt it seem easier to remove the stock bearing cups from the honda and install harley bearing cup and then go with everything harley inside the headtube? is this possible? not sure on the size differances of the two i guess

hey i'm embarking on this modi this winter (along with hardtailing the whole rear section of the frame) i do have a couple of questions about this though.. can you get ahold of me somehow so i can bounce some of my questions off of you?
