Curious...will the 16 guage SS blue from the heat?

What happens if they are chromed? Will they still blue? Or are you best off to just wrap them?

I'm thinking our pipes will start at $300 to your door for some of the more basic designs and then go from there. We have a hydraulic swager and expander as well to do all kinds of cool end formings like doming, flaring, and so on. The set up pictured here would be in the high 300s due to it being a more complicated build. Though it looks simple, the over under design takes a lot of work to get them lined up perfectly while keeping them tight to the bike without burning anything up on the bike or your leg.

Hopefully we can make you guys some nice pipes and put a little extra cash in our pockets. We are open to any designs you guys may have. We are currently building a few more styles and I will post up pics of the new ones as they come. We are still working out some prices so I will update you on those as they come as well.

We give them a light polish before we send them out so they aren't totally dull but they will discolor with time. I'm just not sure how long before they do. I've been running my current pair for a few months now with moderate riding and they still haven't blued. Most people seem to go with ceramic coating rather than chrome, as it will also discolor from the heat. You can also powder coat or wrap them. I personally like the polished stainless steel look.

I think you got a good thing going there, Sway. A lot of people have been wanting different pipes like this for a while now. Not to take away from Oomps' business, whenever he does make pipes, but you could design pipes not only for the 750 models, but also for the 600 and VTX models. I guarantee good business from this site if you do your homework and come up with awesome pipe designs. The ones you made there look great, cant see the weld marks and those flow perfect with the bike. Come up with a few different variations and lengths, and you will get business, if you take time to pursue it.

Love the pipes man. I'll have to keep an eye out if y'all start making any for the 750 ACE. All I can find is basic Cobra styles around. Keep up the good work!

I really like the set you have on your bike now. I would just request tips....directing the exhaust away from the bike. A set designed like the oomps would also be a popular choice.
However, I would have a hard time changing out my V & H's. Love the way they sound.

If you guys can make money at it, Im sure there are a lot of sales potential out there. Good luck with it.
