VT750DC Belt Drive

Has anyone ever tried or have a belt drive kit on their VT750dc? I am intrigued by the concept, just don't know if the design and fab is worth a damn. Any and all info would be great. Thx

Early units were reported as crap with all sorts of issues. Haven't heard anything good or bad in very recent years.

Generally consensus is the newer units are far better than the origninal design. Getting this info from threads on the 750ACE forum

I'm just curious about one cleaning up the area from grease. 2. Not having to hear tht chain noise. Also the less maintenance.
