If you want to take it the next step....

Take a pointy piece of rebar or something similar and a smal sledge and punch holes in the baffles. I think it made the sound a lot deeper.

Be careful not to pound to far forward or you will poke right out the front of your pipes.

Easy and CHEAP!!!!

Great posts as usual, but I have a '04 Aero that has a sort of 2 into 1 pipe. Are there any mods providing the same benefits as these here?

I'm sure someone will pop in here and answer it. If not try posting in the mods section in the AERO forum.
I'm not that familiar with it so I can't give you an answer.

I had asked on the old forum if my bike would pass inspection after holesaw mod. Then I thought "Hey stupid, get the bike inspected THEN do the holesaw mod!"
I checked out www.cobrausa.com yesterday and after listening to their exhaust on the site, I WANT!!!

sure. It will not hurt anything, but it might make the dealer cry.

Wait until the 600 mile break in would be my guess . It should only void the part of your warrenty that deals with your pipes .
