vt750 half ass bobber

picked up the bike for 100 bucks in bone stock trim about 1 1/2 months ago,not running.gave the carbs a good cleaning and she came to life. rode it stock for about 2 blocks then started the mods.

current mods:

removed airbox
rejetted 45 pilot 122 mains 3.5 turns out
lowered with struts
removed front fender
unknown junkyard exhaust
removed idiot lights and gauges
drag specialties speedo
ebay solo seat
flush mount rear led signals
generic front signals
drag bars w/ 4" risers
moved fuse block and wiring into space occupied by airbox
relocated ignition switch
crappy satin black paint job
automotive flasher
removed horns
model a style brake light
side mount plate


soon to come:

wide white wall tires
recover cheap ass seat (gator skin maybe?)
6" z bars
new grips
new foot pegs
better paint job
kick ass headlight
real rear fender

kinda looks like a Mad Max bike. What engine did you have in the little red wagon to bald all 4 tires?

I really like what you've done with your bike. I've got a lot of questions about restoring my 86 VT700 to better than it was in it's glory days.

hey mav... this may be a retarded question but did you put your ignition modules where the air box used to be? and what are you using for your intake... pod filters?
