Thank you. That was a nice bike.

If I were to do the indicator over again, like when I get a springer front end for it, i will get rid of all the idiot lights except for the oil light. My OCD won't let me delete that..lmao.

I would feel better know the oil light is there. I thought about a oil psi gauge but I don't want to add a gauge. not even a mini gauge. the light is small and easily hidden but also easily seen while riding.

Hmm. I think I would want to keep the oil dummy light and the neutral light. I'd love to get an actual fuel level gauge but I don't think that'd be easily done. I think I could get by without the rest of the lights. Definitely gives me something to think about and a little different direction with my design.

I've got some ideas, now I just need to draw them up.

Only kept the neutral and High beam indicators when I moved my bracket to a bottom mount. Moved the ind lights to the mounting holes.

what engine do you have?

I have the VT1100C and it has this stupid air filter box that's a major PITA to install.. I want to do the side filter thing like you got but I think I'd have to fab something up..

It's the 750 engine. I'm 99% sure the air cleaner that's on there now is a 7" round Harley setup, like THIS ONE. I'm honestly a fan of the setup and how it looks though I question the current element's ability to really filter well because it's pretty coarse. It also rubs the bottom of the tank the littlest bit, nothing a dremel couldn't fix quickly.
I think I'll mill a cover like this as a replacement.
