now, all that aside, ive got a question for you. since that rear fender is more than obviously not stock, how did you deal with the pressed ends on the stock fender supports? did you weld a spacer in there or something like that?

This is a older pick of my ol 85 Vt700 We are going on vacation via 101 to Squim Washington. From Eugene. I lost a side cover and made a road side one out of a pizza box and electrical tape!



NOW my friend in in the doctor's office under going corrective surgery for age related issues



Im going to have the engine out soon. and clean and service the thing.
Paint the tank. removing my silly decal. Maybe A custom exhaust system.

Gonna go FI or stay carb? I dont see how the CV carbs will work at all without vacuum unless maybe you didna suck-through setup.

Here's my 87 VT700. Has shorty EMGO 12" mufflers, and air box removal. Still working on getting it tuned right.

Just got it last Wednesday and started making it my own. Baby apes, started on custom drag pipes, made a set of 8" baffles to tone it down a bit. Have to finish grinding welds and fitment, fixed broken seat bolt ( wife tried to help putting back together& the dreaded SNAP) Thin head aircraft bolt and a drum tuning nut came out nice, started polishing bits and the dreaded wheels, buffed out the paint also. She's starting to come to life. My exhaust sounds pretty good I've been told, my neighbors said it sounded a lot better after I made the baffles . So this was week 1 let's see what week 2 brings . Ayone else from louisville ky or near
