2003 Shadow Spirit Gas tank

I recently picked up a 2003 Spirit that had some damage to the gas tank. The damage was repaired but not well. It appears to have started leaking from the repaired area. I am looking for a tank, what are my options. A new tank is crazy $$$$$. The used ones I see on Ebay are jacked up pretty bad. Thanks for the help,

You've found your two best options other than fix the one you've got. You Might find one with less damage but by the time you buy the tank and then get it repaired it might be cheaper to get yours fixed. I looked for over two years and finally decided to say the hell with it and just get mine fixed the way I wanted it.

I have a used tank that I will part with. I stripped the paint and had the dent repaired and a pop up gas cap installed. The pinch weld was cutoff and rewarded back together. It was pressure tested but never sealed or gas put in it. The repair to the dent is just ok it will take some mud to clean it up. If your interested pm me
