Hey all, need a little hint. I want to remove the air filter case, keep the whole plastic tube, something like: see below. I have my stock pipes, but with the baffles fully removed. The altitude is 235 feet, temp goes from 68 to 95. I ride a 94 dual carb vlx 600. Shipping take a lifetime and dyno kits are way overpriced around here, but i can get keihin original jets for rejetting. Carb Jet Kit Calculator says i need 125 mains and 42 pilot, but it seems low compared to all your setups. Does that sound ok to you? Should i go for 45 pilot and 130/135 main?
Little edit: as far as i know, from your info, the carb is a keihin cv double, but i don't know the type. I can find same size jet (ex: 40 pilot, 45 pilot) but for type N424- 25B or N424- 21, difference would be in total length.
