They are 1 inch Bars. I'd have to get a whole new throttle assembly and bore the risers. the bars can't be shaved down to 7/8. But I dont live far from the wonderful world of Bent Bike and they sell drags there for like 25 bucks. and yeah I wrapped the connectors in tape for a temporary solution.

In winter I'll be taking the whole thing apart and doing my own custom Wiring Job to get rid of all the unused and unnecessary wires on the bike. Then I'll give the paint set a new paint job and paint the engine etc etc.

At 7" wide, I can't imagine it wouldn't. Might be so narrow that you need spacers on each side though. Oh, and it's ugly. But it's your bike, so if you like it.....

I kinda like the look of the plastic one better and a whole lot cheaper.Just need to fill the holes on one end or use to mount a tag bracket and light.

I planned on painting it black or just using a normal trailer fender out of sheetmetal. Everyone did that so i kinda just wankted to be different. Another question before i go buying stuff. I was panning on mounting the rear fender with struts to the swing arm and then with some kind of hinge to the chassis crossmember. Any better ideas? I want to keep my springs since i do alot of long distance driving.

if you know a good welder/fabricator, have them move your lower shock mounts back about an inch or so on your swing arm like this guy did. you won't need shorter shocks.

sadly i dont know any good fabricators... I moved to the most yuppie town in washington and nobody there does their own work. Im out of that town now finally... maybe someone who lives up here who is on this forum can help?
I was thinking that I can just keep my shocks as they are for now or I will just suck it up and buy some 10.5" shocks. Moving it back at that angle may not be so good for long riding.

HAHAHA...... Funny.... Okay so the bike is still apart... still sitting.... doing nothing.... I am still whining over the custom wiring harness. Since it is dark when I leave and dark when I get home my pa told me we can put it in the office inside so we can work on it there. Hopefully we will see some progress

Did you ever get or make a side cover? If not I can make and sell you one.

What pipes are you looking at getting? If you wanna find some MAC pipes for cheap head over to http://www.jerryscycles.com/ first. Cheaper than ebay.

Risers and 1" bars... I've got some ideas that I'm probably gonna do this winter.

If you have any questions about the bike go ahead and pm me, I've already bugged the shit out of danteisme and razor78016 about making some standard mods work, pod filter sizes, fender mods, ignition relocation and the like. So in most cases you probably won't have to reinvent the wheel.

And whats up with your wiring harness?
