great write up. the only thing i might add is that to get that nasty hidden bolt you could just take out the two bolts for the seat bracket and the subframe will fall out, giving you access to the hidden bolt. i wish id have found this site before i tackled taking off the lunchbox. i did the whole thing with it on the bike. talk about a pain in the ass. and i didnt know about the hidden bolt and tryed to grind it out with a dremel, then finally found the bolt. lol. good write up

Can't wait until my Billski light arrives. Ordered it last night. With these bad ass directions, it should save me a ton of time. Wiring has never been my forte. Thanks!

Thanks @CrzyJoey for posting the brake light colors! I'm wiring my new LED turn signals into the brakes running light and you saved me trial-and-error time trying to figure it out myself. Much appreciated!

I am a noob to the shadow platform, as I don't even own one yet, going to test drive one tomorrow, but I found this how-to well written and informative, while the rest of the thread, filled with trolls and tools, is a bit lame. Thanks to the OP for the time and good pics it took to create the how-to.
