Why the hell are my pictures correct for me??
Anyway, I like your exhaust as well, honestly I haven't seen very many that didn't look good on the VLX. Can't you just loosen the rear flange and clockwise turn the whole thing to line up the upper& lower a bit? Seems like bobbers are supposed to be a bit rat rod so who cares...right? I did consider the heat on the clutch throw out assembly & oil dipstick, but once I get it back together & running, who knows. I wonder if you could come up with a small heat shield for clutch cable?

Well. I just checked in the Chrome webbrowser at work, and your pictures are right way up... But they are mirrored. How's that for a mindfuck... Something strange is going on.

I was able to rotate the exhaust so it looked straight. But then I put the wrap on it and since I built it so tight... I can't any more. I usually aim for about 90% good when building stuff so that's well within tolerance ;P

And I don't think you need to worry about the clutch cable. Mine has had the exhaust pressed against it for 5000 km (about 3100 miles) now and all I can see is the plastic housing melting a bit at the end of the cable. No failure yet.
