Looking to buy a VTX 1300C

Hey guys,

I am looking to upgrade from my 2001 shadow spirit 750 to a larger displacement bike. I am particularly looking at the VTX 1300C. I have read some reviews online regarding this bike and all I can seem to find that bad is the steering stem bearings go and you should replace them with tapered bearings, any pros and cons you have from daily riding you want to share?

The bike I am looking at is a 2008 VTX 1300C custom, has 240 rear tire, hyper charger, Reinhart exhaust, custom paint and only 11,000km. He is asking $8999 think its worth it?

I have ordered some more parts, got a Vtx-xtreme 6* rake kit with custom cut extensions, fat fork tins from the VTX 1300 R/S model. polishing the lower fork legs and that should complete the front,

Then Glens clutch pull relief, Glens 6.5" AF screw, PAIR mod and a rejet, all to be done before March/April riding season

That is one sweet ride! I could see adding that to the garage in a heartbeat.
