If you lower the back end now, won't the bike be "leaning" backwards? If I have understood the laws of physics correctly (not likely), this will make the bike more difficult to handle, and heavier to turn in to corners. Am I right?
Physics not withstanding, the bike "feels" better in turns. You can see the pics on my website under the lowering the bike section. There are before and after, with the fork extensions in. (I really should take a couple with the saddlebags off). It raised the front up higher, (you notice by your arms being slightly raised when holding the grips), and lowered the back, (you notice this in how far you legs must extend when resting the bike). Hope this helps. I believe if you search this forum, you will see other comments about the turbing after the extensions or rake mod.
