Wheel bearing remover $2

http://www.instructables.com/id/2-Mo...earing-Puller/

Followed this process of the link above and it worked pretty well. I've seen a post in another section of using a tool like this, but this link shows some more detailed instruction on how to.

My wheels were off of an ACE 1100, and there's VERY LITTLE extra room (lip) between the inside collar and the bearing, so no such luck using an old socket or other stuff lying around.

Size: 296.5 KB This is what I ended up with. I used a cutting wheel on an angle grinder to cut the slit. If you're patient like I'm not, you could do it with a hacksaw.

Use a STEEL bolt and make sure it fits tight into the bearing (has to be tapped through), then use a long screwdriver as a drift and tap (measured pound) the bearing out.

I was very happy to not take the wheel in to the dealer to be charged $50 a wheel plus parts.
