I've been plagued with unable to start my bike. I've checked the carburetor which looked good. The spark plugs look pretty black which I replaced, but still can start. I checked the new plugs after trying to start and can smell gas on the plugs but still no starting.
The bike wants to start, but it just wont start up.
Oil replaced. Gas removed and add a bit of gas to see if it was just bad gas. Still same problem.
To make matters worse, I thought maybe the play in my clutch lever was part of the problem and thought I could tighten the cable by turning the larger adjusting nut, but that just broke the cable's adjusting nut right at the larger nut :(

Any ideas what's going on?
Killed the battery trying to start. Now I'm charging the battery up. Once it's back up to full power I'll try holding the clutch and see if that changes anything, but I am at a loss as to what is keeping the bike from starting up.
I hear the bike pushing and pumping, but it stops short of combustion i think.
