Hey guys n gals,
It's looking kinda slow in here, so I assume everybody is out riding in the nice weather.
Lately I've been wanting to take my bike camping but I enjoy too many comforts to carry. To remedy this situation I've decided to build a pull-behind trailer/bug-out pack on steroids. I picked up this UWS aluminum truck box. It's 48 long x 20 wide x 21 tall and weighs around 25 pounds or so. I'll be cutting down a light boat trailer for the chassis and axle. Overall the trailer will be about 78 inches long including a 30 inch tongue and 38 inches wide to the outside of the wheels. The plans include special features that will provide even more usefulness and should make for an interesting build. It looks like I'll be starting next weekend.
If anyone is interested in following the build I'll post updates here.
Because this is just not enough:
