Since where I live we'll see snow soon, and I'm having my tins painted, might as well give it a shot...

I was able to lift my front wheel off the ground doing a holeshot in 1st, if I'd have really romped on it I believe I'd have done a full blown wheelie.......can't say what it's done for my HP gain, but I know without a doubt it has picked up HP, hench the wheel coming off the ground (and thats with the 7*rake and 3" fork extensions). I had the BB mod and was getting about 61MPG with a 39tooth rear sprocket, V&H's and 4* at 65mph. Now with the single carb/widow setup and HK pipes I'm getting around 54MPG at 65. Also with the dual carbs the throttle never really had a definite pulse throughout the throttle band, especially when I would throttle down, but now with my single setup the engine has a pulse that satisfies me even when I throttle down, the pulse never changes, sounds like power all the time.......and the faster/more throttle I give her, the pulse just keeps the same beat yet intensifies with increased speed.

What is a BB mod? 61mpg is pretty good.

Thanks for the comp.

The flange is easily purchased on egay or your local HD shop.

I asked to have one built and bought it on egay!

Here's the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I am building myself a metal intake to match the PVC out of 1-1/2" exhaust tubing i bought on egay as well.
