noob bobber build. Updated on 5/24/16 page 8!

this is the start to my build, picked up the bike with 9000k miles on it at the end of may, came with saddle bags, a windshield, and wanna be highway bar thing, and a luggage rack. now that crap is all off im starting to get somethings done to it.

first day i brought it home

removing the stock air box

new cone filter and rejetted the carb. the main is 137.5 and 52.5 fo the pilot jet.

just took a short road trip from tampa to orlando and to melbourne and back for the 4th of july and rollled over 10k

so far ive put new plugs in, i have metzler me880s on the way, WWWrear and black front, along with the new 40 tooth rear sprocket, new chain, and amsoil 10-40 oil for the bottom end.

What sucks is when you ram a screwdriver through the filter just to fuckin turn it & it rips in half! Ive had that shit happen with my Chevelle & it is due to corrosion & tightening way too far. Ive used my wifes rubber can top opener & it seems to do just fine...better than my leather belt!

at harbor freight they sell a little oil filter wrench that goes on a ratchet, and when you turn the ratchet the fingers get tighter on the filter.

it works everytime on every filter.
