I gave my son my previous bike ('88 VT800 Shadow) and picked up this 97 VT600 and am modifying as time and budget permit. That is why I noticed your post.

But I just realized your air intake mod was for single carb (98). Mine is 97 dual carb. Can you recommend a similar resource? I bought my bike with straight pipes and don't know if the carbs were balanced by the previous owner. I'l like to educate myself enough to make basic carb adjustments. I haven't the smarts to become a carb pro, but if you can recommend a resource I'd appreciate it.

Oh, I'm a little on the geek team myself...so I can appreciate your PDF.

Stick around. If you want to do it, there's somebody here that knows how to pull it off.

Thank you! And, agreed. Now, with your stacks sticky, single & dual carb folks are squared away with some slick intake options.

It says all the right things... I don't mean to come off like too much of a smart-ass... But, I don't know bikebrokeratl on eBay... So, that's a little spooky... But, as near as I can tell it's a similar jet...

I could be wrong, but I believe the jet measurements are thousands of an inch and therefore should be the same depending on the tolerance used by the manufacture, so a 142 is .142 of an inch.
