It is a heavy burden for me to share with you all that a true brother has past. Daniel Robertson Riggle of Jacksonville, FL know to us as Cruffler passed away September 15th, 2011.
Daniel Riggle, February 2nd, 1967-September 15th, 2011, was the owner of First Coast Dock Doctors, Inc. and previously held the position of Vice President of SeaCorp Innova. Dan was a member of the UIA, United Inventors Association, I want to say he was in the Navy, but I can't find a post to verify that although I know from his altercation with Beaker...he was a patriot by all means. He was a son to a WW2 vet. More importantly to us he was a Shadow Rider and a SROC Brother!
The story is listed below of what happened. I spoke with his father-in-law this evening and he said that Dan was a great man and he loved him dearly. I can't begin to imagine what this family is going through especially with the great relationship that his father-in-law told me they had.
I know from reading his post and the work he did on the Aero (which was his wifes) that he loved Darcie, they had been married 18 years, he leaves behind no children. This is a very tragic story and I would ask that you keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
Story#3 with Video
When I spoke with Dan's Father-In-Law this evening he said that they still do not know all the details and that she will be on trial facing the murder charges and they hope to understand what happened.
He informed me that they will be having a memorial services Saturday December 3rd for Dan in Jacksonville, FL. Dan was cremated and his family has taken his remains back to Georgia at this time.

If you live in the Jacksonville, FL area and would like to attend please let me know as we may have some SROC brothers that make the trip as well.
I will update some of this information as more comes to me. Dan's father-in-law said that he found a poem that Dan had written as they are clean up their house and he would like me to share it with you.
This was a tragedy, but I would ask that you refrain from any derogatory comments out of respect to Cruffler.
The LORD is
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
The sign of a GOOD man is a man who can laugh at himself. This was posted on April 2nd and his account says he joined in April so he was a noob with enough confidence in himself to make himself vulnerable...and he survived our ribbing forever about it...
I have blown up many things in my life...this is a first! Here goes...My Aero 750 sat for 3 years while I was away, I added stabil before I left not thinking that the tank was half full, condensation & laquer fuel got the best of her, I tore apart the carb, tanked it & proceeded to remove the rust from the tank using a mild phosphoric acid. I rinsed it out with water, the I filled it with about a half gallon of mineral spirits, plugged all of the holes & shook the hell out of it, I sat it in the sun for about 10 minutes & heard a dull thud...then a slam...the mineral spirits expanded in the now "unvented tank" & it blew out like a puffer fish, it changed the whole tank into a 5gal immediatly, it warped the tank spine & almost blew the seam welds. This was stupid but a complete blindside to me. It just did what an unvented plastic gas tank would do in the sun...swelled. All of this just in time for a childrens cancer ride that I have now missed. I have found a 2008 Spirit (VT750C2) tank for sale ($100) I have been told that it will fit just fine (I hope it does).
What is a Cruffler, from Cruffler himself...
I am a Federal Firearms Curio & Relic license holder, also known as a C&R FFL CR...FFL. A Cruffler collects antique & exotic firearms...hence my gun avatars.
This is a poem that Dan's father-in-law sent me which he found as he has been cleaning up at Dan's house getting everything in order.
Letter - My God
My God …. Why hast thou given me a plate of stones when I have asked for a plate of bounty ? …
You see I have the weight of a well man and a manageable house, yet I have asked for more.
Shall I use these stones to cast upon my enemy ? …. Shall I use these stones to encircle a fire pit for cooking or warmth ? ….Shall I use these stones for ballast to assist my ship to the unknown ? ….Or shall I use them for the foundation in which to build my future ?.... I am truly well in all that thou hast given to me, as I have legs to walk, arms to work and to hold, hands to complete your labor, feet to walk with , a mind to think with and knees to kneel with in your presence , ….for thou art my Lord God and I shall make use and be thankful for all the gifts that your divinity hast given.
Cruffler...Dan, we will miss you BROTHER!
