How is the paint on the handlebars and the plastidip holding up? I'm thinking of the mirror relocation, too, and am wondering if they're holding up as well.

Thanks.

Thanks.

The black spray paint on the handlebars is holding up just fine. I've only had to touch up a few areas due to my screwing around with stuff, lol!

re: Plasti-Dip, it's all in how you apply it. Thicker the better, but you don't want to saturate it all in one shot as it WILL run on you.

I'm in hawaii which creates humidity issues. Every time i try to go thick I've gone too fast and I get bad cracks in the job, so I get to do it again. A good job takes me almost an entire day. Did you do anything special in Florida or just go slow? Have you modded the mirror mounts on the handlebars any or are they also holding up well?

Like many people, I'm sure, your build has sparked a bunch of great ideas for me.

re: PD, like paint I apply it sparingly in even overlapping intervals and multiple coats. As for the mirror mounts, from the original design I show in my thread I've done nothing to them since. They are solid, do not vibrate and do not move unless I move them.

Glad to inspire, and thank you!
