Making some adjustments.
EDIT: So I put a longer spring on and have it a bit of standoff from the frame where I mounted it (at the gas tank bolt). This gave it much more spring but also made it a more efficient lever. I countered this by drilling and tapping two holes forward of the bolt and bolting a piece of flat stock down to it. This will hold the nose down while the tank bolt will make sure it doesn't slide out. It's much more comfortable and still über cheap to do. And it looks like the seat is floating, which I think is pretty cool.
