Yep. I know. I shouldn't do it, but it's time. I'm planning on staying on a bike, but need to get rid of this one. At the point where I find myself, it's just not worth the hassle of DIY anymore, and I need it gone so I can pick up something different.
Bike's not running now, but really just needs to have the gas tank cleaned out, fresh gas, a really thorough carb cleaning, and an oil change. Cosmetically, it's not in awful shape, but could stand for a fresh coat of paint on the tank/fender, and the chrome wheels need a good shine.
I've thought about parting out, and then donating what doesn't sell, however that is more work than I'm willing to put into it for now.
I'm asking 2k, but it's negotiable to a point. Think that's a realistic price for something that needs probably a few hundred in work? (much less if you diy...I just don't have time...)
Pics are below. These are from when she was in tip-top shape, so you can have an idea of the potential, but she's not there right now. Tires are effectively new, and have a boatload of tread left on there. Mileage is ??? I'd have to guess probably 25-30k, but don't have an odometer/speedometer anymore since I put on the Harley front.
Lemme know whatcha think. If you're interested in any pics, I'll snap some tonight. I'm in W. Houston area if you want to come by and take a gander.
