Question about lowering VLX600

Hey All,

First sorry for some bad grammer or spelling. English is not my native language.

So I have a question, I hardtailed my VLX with a home made strut.
After putting the strut in my bike bounced like hell. Every small bumb in the road made me fly in the air a couple of feet that sucked so i lowered the back tire preasure from 42 PSI to 29 PSI and it was alot better.

The thing is now the front bounces pretty bad to. do I need to adjust something on the front aswell? lower tire preasure or do something with the fork springs.
Not a VLX Legend yet but on my way there.

Here are a couple before and after pictures.

Thanks for the response.

Cheers!!!!!
