Glasspacks?

I recently got a 2002 Honda Shadow 1100. Some of the old cars that I've had, had cherry bomb exhaust that sounded good. I'm not unhappy with the sound of my bike but, I was wondering how it would sound if I put on some old CB glasspacks that are laying around in my garage. I've read some of the threads about bending or removing the resonators but I've got some Jardine's that I wouldn't want to ruin with my noobness. I don't think the videos on the web would do the sound justice. I don't want it to sound like a bumble bee in a tin can. Do you guys think the cherry bombs would ruin the sound? They are the 3 1/2 inch straight tube body.

if u have aftermarket exhaust the baffling is u usually removable if not id find a set of stock pipes to chop and run strait... i wouldn't go puttn Cbs on tho there kinda heavy and personally i dont think its gonna help ur sound at all not to mention kinda look silly

That was a big concern too, having red pipes would look a kinda stupid. Ill look up removing the baffling. Thanks

That's a good looking ride. I especially like the big ammo cans.

It depends on the look your going for. His works cuz it is a dirty grungy look. It may not for someone who wants bling bling and chrome and all that stuff. and Custm is right it may not look too great on both sides.

i was sayn 2 on one side1100 has 2separate head pipes... see the war machine works cause he just replaced the grapefruit shooter exhaust pipe that was already there so it already fits the natural lines of the exhaust.. and he could use the stock front have of the exhast that already meets together to keep a cosmetically pleasing flow going

I have 3 inch pipes on either side of my bike. I think it looks fine.... it's all in the look you are going for. If large red penises on your bike are the look you are aiming for.... you are spot on!
